Þrafi hat einen ausgesprochen freundlichen Charakter und wächst altersgerecht in einer Junghengsteherde auf Weiden auf. Freilaufend auf der Weide zeigt er alle seine 5 Gänge gleichermaßen und hat dabei eine sehr schöne Mechanik.
