Description

I bought Blettur in December 2024 as a training and sales project. However, I didn’t expect to like him as much as I do. I have fallen in love with his positive and fun personality. Combined with how quickly he improves and learns, this has made me consider selling him a bit earlier than planned — otherwise, I might never sell him at all. At the moment, I’m a student with two horses, so practicality plays a role in this decision. I began gait training him as a 7-year-old, and he is now showing lots of tölt. He has four very good gaits, with the most untapped potential in tölt, simply because he’s still early in his gait training. He is a fivegaiter which made the gait training a breeze and he is quickly improving. He was bred and initially started by Stian Pedersen, with two first prized parents. During the starting phase, he bucked for quite a while, but since I got him in December, he has never bucked even though I have given him plenty of opportunities- riding bareback and sidesiddles out on the trail. That said, he’s not a beginner’s horse, as he is more forward-going than average. I personally find this very fun, as it’s clear how much he loves being out on the trails. I would love for him to continue doing that with a future owner. He is probably the lightest horse I’ve ridden when it comes to collection — and I’ve trained dozens of horses. He is generally very soft in the mouth and responsive to light rein aids. He is traffic safe (although I haven’t encountered trailers with him), but he handles cars and tractors well. He is also an excellent handhorse. He is up to date on both vaccinations and dental care. If he isn’t sold before summer, he’ll be coming with me to another region of Norway where I’ll be starting young horses all summer. There, I hope to train him more regularly than I’ve been able to during the exam period. We’re also attending our first competition in early June!! (I also have many videoes for anyone interested:) Bjartmar (father, and schimmel pinto on the picture) stallion ad, translated from Norwegian: Bjartmar frá Nedre Sveen NO2010104091 Norway’s highest evaluated stallion with a score of 8.72, including an impressive 9 for riding abilities. Individual highlights include a 10 for walk and 9.5 for pace. He won the Breeding class for 7-year-olds and older at the World Championships 2017 and the Nordic Championships 2019 in F1, and also took bronze at the World Championships the same year. Available for breeding at Nedre Sveen in Folldal from June 15th through the season in 2025. He produces excellent offspring with good temperament and a variety of beautiful colors. His offspring typically have a well-defined withers, strong back, and good legs.
