Herkules is a 7-year-old gelding, approximately 137 cm tall, with a calm and willing temperament. He has four good gaits and is an incredibly kind and uncomplicated horse who loves spending time with his rider. Herkules particularly enjoys trail riding, especially when riding with other horses. This is where he shows plenty of energy and forward movement, as seen in the video. In the arena and when hacking out alone, he does not always think as much about moving forward, but I believe this will improve with increased training and continued training. He has primarily been used for trail riding in company with other horses and as a children’s horse. So, if Herkules could choose for himself, a nice trail ride would definitely be his favourite 🥰 He is always 100% rideable and controllable, and he is a horse who gives his rider a great sense of safety and confidence. He also enjoys spending time with his rider in the stable and is generally a very sweet, friendly and easy-going horse. Herkules is accustomed to traffic and has encountered cars, tractors and lorries while out hacking. Herkules has mild locking of the patella in his hind legs, but this has never limited him in his daily life or when ridden. It disappears as soon as he gets moving. He stands well for the farrier and is kept up to date with vaccinations, worming and regular dental care. Herkules is also accustomed to being stabled and turned out alone while his field companion is being ridden. He is therefore perfectly happy spending time on his own without any problems. So far, he has only been kept with other geldings and has never been turned out with mares. Herkules is now looking for his new home, where he can continue to be the lovely, safe and loyal horse that he is. 🩵 📍 Located Aalborg, Denmark
