Kind company gelding looking for caring home

  • Wallach
  • 11 Years

Description

This adorable and pretty, danish born gelding is looking for a special home as a company horse, where his welfare comes first. He came to us almost two years ago, slightly started and we completed his basic training until he was able to join us on our tours, where he gained many fans through last season. Demantur is a horse that enjoys every piece of attention he can get, stands quietly for grooming and is easy to handle from the ground, even for smaller people or children. When ridden regulary, he showed four comfortable and balanced gaits and was easy to ride inside and outside, alone and in groups. However, he has not been ridden for many years and is not the most trained horse for his age. Unfortunately, he has developed a breathing issue this year, most likely asthma. He is currently kept on sand paddocks, and we believe he would benefit greatly from a home with suitable grass turnout and a dust-free area with an owner willing to provide the time, attention and care he needs. Due to his health condition and limited recent riding, we sell him as a company/companion horse, not as a riding horse. He knows mixed groups with mares and geldings, as well as small and bigger groups. We are looking for a loving and caring home - this lovely gelding deserves the absolute best :)
