Kvika is a cute, 13 year old mare who is currently ridden as a four-gaited horse. She has an easy tölt and a well seperated trot. Kvika had 2 foals after being imported and now slowly came back to her riding horse training. Over the past few years she has been ridden little to not at all and is now back in semi-active training. Kvika is not a finished riding horse and is therefore being sold as a project horse or broodmare. She has a clear gait separation, knows some lateral work and groundwork as well as going out alone and in groups and being worked inside. Under the saddle, she tends to be a forward going and sensitive horse who can easily become stressed by her own energy or surroundings. At the same time, with the right rider, she is capable of being ridden slowly and thoughtfully. She needs a calm, experienced and empathetic rider who is confident and does not become insecure when she gets tense. Kvika is very much a one-person-horse and can always need a little bit of time to get used to new people when under the saddle and would develop the best relationship with someone who gives her a clear, consistent and stress free guidance. She is a very sweet and easy mare from the ground. All this makes Kvika be an interesting choice for someone looking for a project horse to develop, or a breeder looking for a proven broodmare that already had 2 foals. Please note: Kvika is explicitly not being sold as a horse that can simply be bought and immediately ridden by everyone.
