Garpur is a four-gaited horse with an exceptionally good tölt, which he naturally finds himself and performs with a consistently clear and pure rhythm. His trot has good suspension, but requires more strength for him to work fully through his body. His walk has a correct rhythm but can become hurried if not supported by the rider. His canter is good but requires further training to comfortably work on, for example, a 20-metre circle. He comes with plenty of experience and has competed at several events, where he has always performed well and reached the finals. He is a versatile horse and can be ridden in both tölt and four-gait classes. He is calm and relaxed around traffic, bicycles and more.
