His temperament is something quite extraordinary. He is sweet – not just ordinarily sweet, but exceptionally sweet, kind, welcoming and affectionate! He will always come to greet you in the field and happily follows you around wherever you go. He loves standing in the stable aisle being cuddled, groomed, scratched, or simply spending time with people 💖 His gentle nature creates a sense of calm around him, but he is also always ready for a little snack 🍬 Viggó has been professionally started and trained from the very beginning. He knows all the basics, moves nicely off the aids and responds well to his rider’s signals. He has a medium willingness and is happy to take things as they come. He is never in a hurry – whether out on a ride, in the arena or anywhere else 🌳 He has been ridden both in the arena and out on trails, alone as well as with other horses. He has also encountered traffic, tractors and trucks without reacting. He LOVES travelling in a trailer and will happily run straight in – as long as you are ready to put the bar behind him and close the ramp 👌🏼 Viggó is a 4.5-gaited horse, but at the moment he has mainly been ridden in walk, trot and canter. His tölt appears regularly and naturally in transitions, and with a little contact on the reins and forward riding, he can maintain it for longer stretches. He has big movements with good reach and plenty of lift. He was started under saddle in July 2026, which is why he has not received more extensive training -other than all basis training yet. He will stop in a halt with a simple “woahhh”, no matter where you are or how many other horses are around. He is not the type to get excited when riding out with other horses – he simply goes along and minds his own business 🧍🏼‍♀️ Viggó absolutely has the potential for competition. He simply needs more training and strength in his gaits before he is ready for futurity classes or sport competitions. He would also be an excellent luxury riding horse for someone looking for a reliable and predictable horse who just happens to be a little prettier than the neighbour’s 💁🏼‍♀️ He could also become the perfect family horse, as he is very secure in himself and loves being around people and other horses 💖 He can live both in a mixed herd and with mares. He is low in the hierarchy and prefers to step away from any commotion. A very kind and well-liked horse in the field.
