Description

Arnbjörn is a promising 1-year-old stallion BLUP 108, sired by Örvar frá Efri-Hrepp. Örvar is evaluated with a total score of 8.61, receiving 9.0 for tölt, spirit, proportions, and hooves - and it already appears that he has passed on many of his outstanding qualities. Arnbjörn is a large, brown stallion turning 1 in May with a lovely presence and natural self-carriage. At his foal assessment, which he handled beautifully, he received high praise, particularly for his neck, shoulders, and back. He naturally uses all five gaits, with expressive movement and good suspension — at times it almost looks as if he does not touch the ground when moving freely across the field. Raised on large fields with steep hills in a mixed herd, he has had an excellent and natural start to life, developing strength, balance, and strong social skills. He is very sweet, well-socialized, and easy to handle. He has started his vaccination program and is up to date with deworming and hoof trimming. The farrier is not only very pleased with his calm temperament, but also with the exceptional quality of his hooves. In appearance, Arnbjörn strongly resembles his mother, a large and beautiful 145 cm mare with enormous amounts of hair and great presence. She is currently evaluated in second class and will be presented again this summer. An exciting young horse who will certainly grow into a big and impressive stallion, with great potential for both sport and leisure riding.
