Bragi bringt neben sehr guten Gangarten auch ein exzellentes Gebäude mit. Seine außergewöhnliche Haltung und Aufrichtung sind schon bei seinem Vater Kjarni frá Þjóðólfshaga 1 und dessen Mutter Kringla dokumentiert und dürfen als genetisch fixiert gelten. Bragi absolvierte 2011 seine zweite FIZO-Beurteilung und erreichte eine Exterieurnote von 8,53, eine Gangbeurteilung von 8,16 und eine Endnote von 8,31 (BLUP 110). Für Tölt, Trab, Galopp und Form erhielt er jeweils 9,0. Bragi frá Austurkoti hat sich schon heute durch seine Nachzucht bewährt. Er verkörpert eine andere Dimension Islandpferd und wird als wegweisender Vererber seine Spuren in der Islandpferdezucht der kommenden Jahre hinterlassen.
