Smekkurs stunning look and truly give him the X-Factor! But this raw diamond has more to offer than his looks only. Smekkur has only been started under the rider in autumn/winter 2022 due to a bad injury as a young horse and is therefore still rather "green" under the saddle. But even though he is so little trained he is already open in all 5 gaits and showing flashy movements, big strides and much suspension. Smekkurs confirmation is harmonious, he has a very strong top line and good leg quality. Smekkur has great balance under the rider, is curious and friendly in character and learns extreamly fast. So far the plan is to show him in breeding show this summer after less than a year in training. Smekkurs father is the well known stallion Sproti frá Innri-Skeljabrekku and his mother Iða frá Vatnshömrum is a first price mare, all of her shown offspring are first price too.
